Active Start Delivered in NAP SACC Intervention Research

We are delighted to have finally delivered three Active Workshops as part of the main Nap Sacc research project. Due to Covid the research had been delayed. Having worked on the feasibility back in 2016, the research completed in 2017, which showed how effective the workshop was at helping increase physical activity levels in early years settings.

The larger scale research is underway with 4 areas across England and Scotland.

Our workshop has been tailored to maximise the time with early year practitioners, reducing training costs, to create cultural and policy change in the setting. It has been designed to be child centred, and developed from an early years perspective. These two factors ensure the workshop is well received and those in attendance leave with the motivation, inspiration and tangible actions.

Our part for now in the NAP SACC trial is complete and it is over to the researchers. We look forward to seeing the results in 2024.

Creating campaigns that change peoples lives.
